The EV is engaged in the most significant initiative since our founding — the creation of an EcoCenter in the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve.
In partnership with the City of Palo Alto, Environmental Volunteers is transforming the iconic boat-shaped building that was formerly the Sea Scout House into a lively community resource for environmental education. The new EcoCenter will be a model "green building project" with hands-on learning about environmental stewardship for visitors of all ages.
