All About Birds

Environmental stewardship is fostered from a love and connection to our environment. Birds are one of the first associations with nature most of us make.

Students will learn why a bird is not a mammal; what is “birdness.” They will explore the wide variety of birds that are typically found in our local neighborhoods. They will learn about the unique features of bird beaks, feet, and feathers that help these beautiful animals thrive.

The program is available for grades K through 2.
