Come join the Environmental Volunteers as we celebrate the Grand Opening of the EcoCenter on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. at the EcoCenter, located in the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve.

This event is FREE and open to the public. 

What's Happening:
The event will feature hands-on nature and science activities, tours of the EcoCenter and its state-of-the-art touchscreen science exhibits, as well as bird watching, a scavenger hunt, a raffle, music, and free giveaways. Staff from the Environmental Volunteers will also lead groups around the Baylands Preserve on guided nature walks. Visitors can also download a free iPhone app self-guided tour of the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve, available at www.EVols.org.

Directions: 
From US-101 exit Embarcadero Road, head East. Follow Embarcadero Road until it reaches the stop sign at the bay. Make a left and follow Embarcadero through the Palo Alto Baylands. The EcoCenter is located at 2560 Embarcadero Road. Please note: GPS systems cannot locate our address.

Parking: 
Please note: Parking is limited in the Baylands and we urge visitors to carpool. Parking is available in the large gravel lot on the left-hand side after passing the Baylands Ranger Station. Parking is also available in the lot on the right-hand side prior to entering the preserve gates. Limited wheelchair accessible parking is available adjacent to the EcoCenter. Click here for a detailed parking map.
