What's Happening: Stewardship in Action, School Programs Volunteer Training
Become a school programs volunteer with the Environmental Volunteers! This volunteer training course for new volunteers will take place on Thursday mornings (9:00 am-1:30 pm) from October 26th to December 14th at the EcoCenter (no class on November 23rd). No background required; all you need is a love of nature, education, and children.

This course will focus on teaching strategies for older students (3rd through 6th grades) and cover such subjects as Adaptations (in the Bay, Marine, or Foothills habitat), Early California Indians, Earthquake Geology, and Energy and Natural Resources.
