Interpretive Signs Enhance Visitors' Experience of Flora in the Palo Alto Baylands

October 2012 (Palo Alto, CA)- Twelve new interpretive signs have been installed in the EcoCenter’s Native Plant Garden along the Bay Trail, thanks to a generous grant from the Garden Club of Palo Alto.

These educational signs provide unique and interesting facts about the flora found in the Palo Alto Baylands, augmenting visitors’ experience, appreciation, and understanding of marsh ecology.

Visitors can now learn about the adaptations of native plants such as Pickleweed and Coyote Bush, and discover the rich natural history of the Baylands ecosystem.

The interpretive signs contain vivid illustrations, photographs, and bilingual Spanish-English descriptions, ensuring that the landscape surrounding the EcoCenter is a beautiful, educational, and engaging space for all visitors.

Thank you, Garden Club of Palo Alto!
