Junior Naturalist program introduces kids to the Baylands

June 3, 2013

The EV’s popular Junior Naturalist after school program provides local youths with a chance to engage in hands-on natural science activities. This year we have seen over 50 3rd-5th graders experience nature as they learned about marine ecology, conservation studies, and much more.

The Junior Naturalist Program has completed two programs so far this year with the most recent one wrapping up this past May. The EV also has plans for another session in Fall 2013.

Thanks to generous grants from the Palo Alto Rotary Club and the Facebook Local Community Fund, these budding young naturalists have been given the opportunity of a lifetime.
