Learning Resources
The most effective learning doesn’t happen in a vacuum; it happens when you experience a concept in a variety of ways. The EV may come to a classroom to teach about the environment, but our program is greatly enhanced when it is accompanied by other lessons from the teacher, activities at home with their families, and from other organizations like the EV coming to the same classroom. This section is dedicated to providing more resources for teachers, parents, students, or anyone who loves learning more about the environment to use. Here are some areas where you can learn more:
| Science by Nature | A one-stop shop where you can sign up for amazing hands-on natural science programs from different organizations in the Bay Area. |
| General Education | Resources and organizations where you can get some intereting information on science education standards, sustainability topics, and teaching methods. |
| Fun Facts | Check out these fun facts to amaze your kids, friends, and anyone interested in nature! |
| General Science and the Environment | A great source of science and environmental topics - learn about the wonderful environmental science organizations and locations we have in the Bay Area! |

Science by Nature
This is a new and innovative website from the Environmental Volunteers, in partnership with multiple environmental education providers, that makes it easy for teachers to access more fun and engaging, hands-on natural science programs for the classroom.
Every teacher knows students learn best when they can work with a concept multiple times in different ways. With Science by Nature you no longer have to spend a lot of time searching for and arranging each program. It is a one-stop shop where you can sign up for amazing hands-on natural science programs from different organizations in the Bay Area, and the organizations will work with each other to deliver these programs so each one reinforces the next.
