Planned Giving
Environmental Volunteers welcomes donations through bequests and charitable estate planning such as Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Life Insurance, and other investment vehicles.
You and your family can help secure the future of Environmental Volunteers while receiving philanthropic benefits consistent with your own financial goals. Through an estate plan, it is possible for you to support the Environmental Volunteers during your lifetime, while making a future transfer of assets to your heirs at a substantially reduced cost of gift and estate taxes. With some planned giving vehicles, you and/or your beneficiaries can receive guaranteed income for life (or for a term of years). We will be pleased to work with you and your financial planner to ensure that your intentions are followed.
When you notify us that the Environmental Volunteers is a beneficiary of your estate plan, you are invited to become members of our Heritage Oaks Circle. The Heritage Oaks Circle was created to honor those who are committed to securing the Environmental Volunteers’ future.
Members of the Heritage Oaks Circle receive the following benefits:
- Recognition (with your permission) in a special section of our Annual Report and in our newsletters.
- Invitations to attend Heritage Oaks special events, as well as other exclusive membership events.
- The satisfaction of knowing your gift will permanently help provide environmental stewardship education for future generations.
