What's Happening: Explorations in Ecology, School Programs Volunteer Training

Become a school programs volunteer with the Environmental Volunteers! This volunteer training course for new volunteers will take place on Monday mornings (9:00 am-1:30 pm) from March 6th to April 17th (excluding March 13th) at our EcoCenter in Palo Alto. No background required; all you need is a love of nature, education, and children.

This training will focus on teaching strategies for younger students (K through 2nd grade), and will cover subject areas such as Baylands Ecology, Forest and Foothills Ecology, Nature in Your Neighborhood (Urban Ecology), and All About Birds.
