Join the EV in a fun, interactive learning experience which will explore what you can find while the tide is low!
Sunday, June 27th 9:30 am to 11:00 am
Every day, the tides come in and out at the Baylands Nature Preserve. Today, we will explore what amazing things you can find when the water goes back out to the ocean! Join us exploring the tidal ecology of the Baylands, and discovering how fascinating low tide can be!
We will have families check in at the EcoCenter and then embark separately on a fun, socially distanced exploration of the Baylands at low tide. Volunteers will be set up at stations throughout the Baylands so you can check in, ask questions, and learn about the Ecology there. A limited number of families will be allowed at a station at a given time, Facemasks will be required or all participants in your group.
This event will be drop-in, so you do not have to arrive on time. However, volunteers will only be out from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
