Adaptations*
In the Adaptations program, students will learn about how animals and plants have adapted to live in specific habitats, such as the brackish waters of the Baylands, the grasslands of the California Foothills, or the salty waters and wave-pummeled tidepools of the Marine environment. NGSS Program.
Available options: In-Person, Synchronous (Baylands Habitat only)
In-Person
For in-person programs, teachers can select which habitat they would like to focus on for their class (though each grade should select the same option).
Total time for each classroom: 90 minutes

Synchronous
In the Adaptations Program for the Baylands habitat, students will learn about how Baylands animals and plants have adapted to live in this brackish environment.
Total time for each synchronous lesson: 30 minutes
